EYE ON JEFFERSON County commissioners to hear COVID-19 update

Government meetings throughout the county

The three Jefferson County commissioners will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Allison Berry when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.

The commissioners also will conduct workshops on public records, policy change related to fees for body-worn videos, and on 2022 noxious weed control projects.

The Washington State Association of Counties will hear a weekly update on COVID-19 when they meet at noon Monday.

Both Clallam and Jefferson counties will participate.

Collaborative group

The Intergovernmental Collaborative Group will review a draft outline of the economic development framework when it meets at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The group also will hear a report on the Economic Development Council Team Jefferson from Cindy Brooks and will discuss federal funding.

The group is composed of members of four entities: Jefferson County Commission, Port Townsend City Council, the Port of Port Townsend and Jefferson County Public Utility District.

Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will hear a presentation on the progress of work at 300 Four Corners road at a pre-meeting workshop at 3 p.m. Tuesday and will discuss the Sims Way Gateway project during their regular meeting at 4 p.m.
