The Clallam County Board of Health will discuss a COVID-19 Phase 3 variance request and possible allowance for camping in a special meeting at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

County commissioners

Clallam County commissioners will conduct a special meeting at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday for possible action on the Board of Health’s recommendations on a Phase 3 variance application and camping allowance.

Commissioners will hold their regular work session at 9 a.m. Monday.

Discussion items include:

• An agreement with Jamestown Tower, LLC for use of the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe’s Blyn tower site.

• A discussion on House Bill 1406, which provides funding for affordable housing.

• A call for July 12 hearing on an ordinance amending code for the Opportunity Fund.

• A 10 a.m. weekly discussion on CARES Act funding.

Commissioners will conduct their weekly business meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Action items include:

• An agreement with Olympic Peninsula Community Clinic for medical services and case management to guests of the COVID-19 recovery facility.

• An agreement with the Department of Justice for coronavirus emergency supplemental funding.

• Contract with the state Military Department for Peninsula Communications dispatch center.

• An agreement with Straitside Ranch for maintenance and use of Robin Hill Farm county park.

• An amended agreement with the state Department of Ecology for the Lower Dungeness River levee setback project.

• A contract amendment with Peninsula Community Health Services for opioid prevention and reporting activities.

• A bid opening for Dry Creek Road utility relocation.

• Resolutions adopting a budget revision and supplemental appropriations.

• A 10:30 a.m. public hearing for consideration of debatable budget emergencies.

Olympic Medical Center

Olympic Medical Center commissioners will hear an update on COVID-19 when they meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Commissioners also will discuss single sign-on, the wound clinic space remodel, a general surgery professional services agreement amendment and a Varian service and maintenance agreement.

They will recess into an executive session to discuss the qualifications of an applicant for public employment and to discuss current or potential litigation.
