Utility committee

The Port Angeles Utility Advisory Committee will discuss stormwater education and outreach when committee members meet Tuesday.

The meeting will be at 3 p.m. in the Jack Pittis Conference Room at City Hall, 321 E. Fifth St.

The stormwater topic will be discussed as part of the committee’s consideration of an interlocal agreement with Kitsap County.

Also up for discussion is the bilateral transfer of energy conservation budget and a net energy metering policy.

Port of Port Angeles

Port of Port Angeles commissioners will discuss possibly increasing the port’s tax levy when they meet in regular session Monday.

Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. for a workshop and at 1 p.m. for a regular session at port headquarters at 338 W. First St.

Commissioners have discussed possibly increasing the tax levy by 1 percent along with one-third of the port’s banked capacity.

A final decision will be made after a public hearing planned Nov. 14.

At the morning workshop, commissioners will discuss a delay on the apron project at Fairchild International Airport and third-quarter financial reports.

Sequim schools

The Sequim School Board will consider a capital projects levy to renovate and expand the district’s central kitchen facility when it meets Monday.

The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at 503 N. Sequim Ave.

Superintendent Gary Neal said last month that he expects to have the capital projects proposal, including overall cost, at this coming board meeting.

The levy on the February ballot would pay for the demolition of an unused portion of Sequim Community School and remodel of the district’s base kitchen, also located at the community school.

The board also will hear reports on Eureka math curriculum, a Greywolf Elementary School improvement plan and the second annual community needs assessment.

Clallam PUD

Clallam County Public Utility District commissioners will consider designating a district representative to obtain federal and/or state emergency or disaster assistance funds Monday.

The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Lake Crescent boardroom of the district’s main office in Carlsborg, located at 104 Hooker Road.

Commissioners also will consider approving the prequalifications of contractors for inclusion on the small-works roster and hear a third-quarter report from the district treasurer.

Clallam Conservation District

Clallam Conservation District members will hear an update on a proposed Dungeness River off-stream reservoir Tuesday.

The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. in Suite H at the Armory Square building at 228 W. First St. in Port Angeles.

Other agenda items include building maintenance and vehicle vandalism, cooperator and cost-share agreements and irrigation efficiencies grant agreements with the Dungeness Irrigation District and Sequim Prairie-Tri Irrigation Association.

Clallam Transit

The Clallam Transit board will hold a budget workshop Wednesday.

The workshop will begin at 9 a.m. at the Clallam Transit Office, 830 W. Lauridsen Blvd.
