This Monday’s featured speaker will be Jake Beattie, executive director of the Northwest Maritime Center, which is producing the inaugural Race to Alaska.

■ Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings are held at 11:45 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at noon at SunLand Golf & Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive, Sequim.
This Tuesday’s gathering will feature a talk by Bill Greenwood, executive director of the Clallam County Economic Development Council.
The meeting sponsor will be Dungeness Valley Health and Wellness Clinic.

■ Forks Chamber of Commerce — Luncheon meetings are Wednesdays at noon at JT’s Sweet Stuffs, 80 N. Forks Ave.
This Wednesday’s meeting will feature a talk by Clea Rome, Clallam County director of the Washington State University Extension.
Lunch costs $8; a bowl of soup, $4.99; and a cup of soup, $3.99 (all prices plus tax). The entree is Reuben sandwich and salad.
■ Port Angeles Business Association — Meetings are Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 DelGuzzi Drive.
The group will hold a business meeting and discussion this Tuesday.
There is a $3 minimum charged by Joshua’s for those who do not order breakfast.
