Correction: Chimacum graduation at 1 p.m. today; other graduations listed

The bulk of this year’s high school commencement ceremonies are scheduled Friday and Saturday.

Here is the schedule:

• Port Townsend High School — about 110 students, 7 p.m. Friday at McCurdy Pavilion in Fort Worden State Park, 200 Battery Way, Port Townsend.

• Sequim High School — about 220 students, 6 p.m. Friday at the high school football stadium, 601 N. Sequim Ave.

• Quilcene High School — about 23 students, 2 p.m. Saturday in the school gymnasium, 294715 U.S. Highway 101.

• Clallam Bay High School — eight students, 2 p.m. Saturday at the school gymnasium, 16933 state Highway 112.

• Crescent High School — 19 students, 3 p.m. Saturday in the school gymnasium, 50350 state Highway 112.

• Chimacum High School — 90 students, 1 p.m. Saturday at McCurdy Pavilion in Fort Worden State Park, 200 Battery Way, Port Townsend.

• Peninsula College commencement ceremonies also will be on Saturday. They will be at 2 p.m. at the college’s gymnasium on the Port Angeles campus at 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

State Supreme Court Justice Susan Owens, who served 19 years as a District Court judge in the West End before she was elected to the Supreme Court in 2000, will deliver the keynote address.

Some 150 students are expected to attend. A total of 356 students applying for degrees are receiving 382 degrees or certificates.

Two ceremonies are planned in Port Angeles next week.

• Lincoln High School of Port Angeles — about 20 students, 4 p.m. Thursday in the Little Theatre at Peninsula College, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

• Port Angeles High School — about 240 students, 8 p.m. Friday, June 18, in the school gymnasium, 304 E. Park Ave. Tickets are required. Graduation ceremony tickets will be distributed to seniors on Monday. Extra tickets will be given to them on Wednesday.

Last Saturday, about 26 Neah Bay High School students participated in graduation ceremonies at 1 p.m. in the school gymnasium, 3560 Deer St.

At 7 p.m. last Saturday, the ceremony for about 73 Forks High School students was conducted in the school gymnasium, 191 S. Spartan Ave.

Four students graduated from Jefferson Community School at a ceremony Wednesday.

Dan Willis of Port Townsend, a docent at the Point Wilson Lighthouse at Fort Worden State Park, conducts a tour for interested visitors on Thursday.
