Construction night crews plan work on Highways 19 and 104

PORT LUDLOW — Work crews will be completing the construction of the roundabout at the intersection of state Highway 19 and state Highway 104 during the rest of the month.

Drivers can expect overnight lane closures with alternating single lane traffic tonight through Wednesday, July 31, according to a press release from the state Department of Transportation.

The overnight lane closures are scheduled for:

• From 6 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.

• From 11 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday.

• From 6 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.

• From 11 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday.

• From 11 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 31.

During the lane closures, work crews will complete the paving of the roundabout, put down temporary striping, remove the detour signs and remove the temporary traffic signal at the intersection of Highway 104 and Center Road.

Permanent striping is currently scheduled for Aug. 19-21.

After completing the roundabout at Highway 19, work crews will move east along Highway 104 to begin construction of a metered roundabout at the intersection with Shine Road and Paradise Bay Road.
