PORT ANGELES — Clallam 2 Fire Rescue recognized several individuals at its annual awards and recognition banquet Feb. 1.

Firefighter/EMT Tim Davis was awarded the 2019 Volunteer Firefighter of the Year Award.

Davis is also a rope rescue and surface rescue technician.

Elizabeth Hagaman is the Volunteer EMT of the year at Clallam 2 Fire Rescue.

Firefighter/EMT Elizabeth Hagaman was awarded the 2019 Volunteer EMT of the Year Award.

Hagaman, who recently started the nursing program at Peninsula College, also obtained certification as a rope rescue technician in 2019.

Firefighter/EMT Tyler Gear was awarded the 2019 Career Firefighter of the Year Award.

Gear followed his father and brother into the fire service, started as a volunteer and was hired as a career firefighter during 2019.

Tim Davis was selected as Volunteer Firefighter of the Year by Clallam 2 Fire Rescue.

Firefighter/EMT Rick Leffler received a Meritorious Service Award for this countless hours spent responding to calls and performing other tasks such as vehicle maintenance and issuing burn permits.

Firefighter/EMT Sarah Springob was also recognized for her dedication and devotion as an adviser to the Fire District’s Explorer Post.

The Post allows young men and women to experience what a career in the fire service entails.
