PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Citizen Action Network, a subcommittee of Revitalize Port Angeles, has formed to focus on illegal drug use and will host its inaugural meeting at 6:30 p.m. tonight (Thursday evening).
The meeting will be in the upstairs conference room at The Landing mall, 115 E. Railroad Ave. The public is invited to attend.
The group hopes to create an action plan “to address the drug problem in our community,” said Angie Gooding, organizer.
“All concerned persons, and especially individuals with specialized training (law enforcement, program managers, educators, mental health and drug counselors, etc.), are encouraged to attend,” she said in an email.
