CARLSBORG — The deaths of an elderly couple are being investigated by Clallam County Sheriff’s Department detectives.
Sheriff’s officials said there is no evidence, or reason to believe someone outside the home caused the deaths.
The bodies of Myron James Wetter, 85, and Marian Lucile Wetter, 84, were found Dec. 6 in their home in the Parkwood Manufactured Housing Community, 261520 U.S. Highway 101.
Undersheriff Fred DeFrang said the deaths are being investigated as a double suicide or a possible homicide-suicide.
“Basically it’s a coroner’s case,” DeFrang said. “When you have deaths at the same time and place there’s reason to investigate.”
Capt. Steve Snover said the couple’s housekeeper discovered the bodies Tuesday.
