Canning classes at two North Olympic Library System branches

Victoria Redhead Miller will present “Fearless Pressure Canning” at two North Olympic Library System branches.

She will teach the class at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., Port Angeles.

She will present it again at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9 at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim .

Miller, a local author, will discuss the safe use of pressure canners and will host a Q&A session after each class.

The program is free, but pre-registration is required by calling the library at 360-683-1161 in Sequim, 360-417-8500 in Port Angeles or online at www.nols.org.
