Blanket of clouds descends on Port Angeles

A persistent cloud layer snuggles against the Olympic foothills above Port Angeles as Klahhane Ridge pokes out high above during a break in the rain Thursday.
Unsettled weather with periods of showers are forecast through the weekend for most areas of the North Olympic Peninsula.
