PORT ANGELES — A $1,000 cash prize awaits the Best in Show winner of “Art Convergence,” the juried exhibition to open at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center next month.
The entry deadline is Friday, Oct. 24, for the show, which also promises $300 each to first-place winners in the two- and three-dimensional art categories, plus $100 each for honorable mentions.
Two Port Townsend artists will judge submissions: Karen Hackenberg is the juror for two-dimensional entries, while Margie McDonald will select the three-dimensional works.
The fee is $25 for two entries, while details and entry forms are available at www.PAFAC.org.
Art Convergence will open at the fine arts center Thursday, Nov. 13, and stay on display through Jan. 9, so all entered art will be available for purchase throughout the holidays.
