Women’s health topic of WOW! Wellness Forum

Carolyn DeSalvo

SEQUIM — Dr. Carolyn DeSalvo will present “Women’s Health Issues” at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The free lecture, part of the WOW! Working On Wellness Radio Forum series, will be broadcast on KSQM radio, 91.5 FM.

DeSalvo, who has practiced medicine for more than 25 years, will discuss current screening recommendations for women as well as lifestyle recommendations for the prevention of common health concerns.

DeSalvo is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine, completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas as well as a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona.

The wellness lecture series is sponsored by the Dungeness Valley Health and Wellness Clinic.
