Tickets for Jefferson Master Gardener Foundation’s lecture series available

PORT TOWNSEND — Tickets are now on sale for the Jefferson County Master Gardener Foundation’s 2022 Yard and Garden lecture series.

The virtual lectures are from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays from Jan. 8 through Feb. 12.

Tickets, which are $12 per lecture or $60 for a six-lecture pass, can be purchased at www.yardandgarden.brownpapertickets.com.

Speakers include:

• Jan. 8: Linda Gilkeson, “Planning Your 12-Month Garden.”

• Jan. 15: Bess Bronstein, “How to Successfully Prune Any Shrub.”

• Jan. 22: Eric Lee-Mäder, “Bring Back the Pollinators: Sowing Biodiversity for Bees and Beneficial Insects.”

• Jan. 29: Christina Pfeiffer, “What on Earth? Taking Care of Garden Soils.”

• Feb. 5: David Seabrook, “Growing Community Food System Resilience for Uncertain Times.”

• Feb. 12: James Cassidy, “Mulches and Crop Rotations.”
