PORT ANGELES — Ray Buckley will lead a storytelling retreat from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday.
The free community retreat is at the Port Angeles First United Methodist Church, 110 E. Seventh St., Port Angeles.
Buckley, the director of the Center of First Nations Spirituality, is an author, illustrator, preacher and lecturer from the Matanuska-Susitna Valley of Alaska.
The theme for the retreat is transcultural recognition and spiritual identity through oral tradition and storytelling.
In-person registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
