Port Townsend Elks Lodge donates $3,000 to Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding

(Boat School donation)   In support of veterans at the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding in Port Hadlock, the Port Townsend Elks Lodge presented the school with a $3,000 donation earlier this month. From left are Elks board chair Jerry Lucas, Elks officers Jim Aman and Shirlee Beck, Elks veteran chair Rita Frangione, VetCorps peer specialist Antonio Romero and boatbuilding instructor Tucker Piontek. Romero, himself a veteran, works with fellow veteran students to make their Boat School experience a rewarding one.
