PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Pickleball Club will kick off its fundraising campaign with a gala from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The capital campaign gala will be at the Mountain View Courts, 1925 Blaine St. In the event of inclement weather, the gala will move into the YMCA,
Attendees can enjoy food, raffles, games and prizes as well as meet with club members to learn about the newly designated official sport of Washington state.
The club is committed to raising $35,000 to resurface the courts.
