Holiday farce, story swap on Tuesday

A holiday farce and a story swap are on Tuesday’s calendar on the North Olympic Peninsula.

Senior dance

PORT ANGELES — Cat’s Meow will perform for a swing dance from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The dance will be in the Port Angeles Senior and Community Center, 328 E. Seventh St.

Refreshments will be served from 8 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Admission is $5 per person; first-time attendees are admitted free.

Story swap

PORT ANGELES — An open mic story swap is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The monthly storytelling event is in the Carver Room at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.

The public is welcome at the free story swaps, held the third Tuesday of each month.

Snacks and socializing will begin at 6:30 p.m. and there will be a break at 8 p.m. for dessert.

Christmas comedy

PORT ANGELES — Another performance of the holiday farce “The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society Production of A Christmas Carol” is set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The production is staged at the Port Angeles Community Playhouse, 1235 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

The show will also run Dec. 20-22.

Tickets are $8 per person, $8 for students at the door and $15 for adults if purchased online at pacp.ludus.com or at the Brocante Antique Mall, 105 W. First St.

CHIMACUM

Book trivia

CHIMACUM — Jefferson County Library will host a trivia competition at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The competition will be at The Keg & I, 1291 Chimacum Road.

An extra point will be awarded to teams who present their library cards.

Attendees must be 21 years old or older.
