I watched the League of Women Voters Candidates forum for Sequim School Board last Thursday and was very impressed with the incumbents: Larry Jeffryes, Maren Halvorsen and Michael Rocha.
Each expressed balanced, thoughtful reasons for the reconfiguration, promised to follow the move very closely,
with evaluations to determine how it’s going.
They clearly have the students’ welfare at heart and bravely made the tough decision.
Change like this is hard, but students adapt quickly when they are stimulated.
Help our Sequim School District continue to make fiscally sound decisions for the best education for the students.
Vote for Jeffryes, Halvorsen and Rocha.
