I have known Ken and Joanna Hays for over 40 years.
They have been solid pillars of the community, running a small business in Sequim during this time.
Ken has also spent time in community service and has been elected to public office including the Sequim City Council.
Ken served as the mayor of Sequim for six years with many accomplishments.
Knowing how government works from hands-on experience is important as a Clallam County Public Utility District No. 1 commissioner.
Ken Hays will bring this important knowledge to our PUD if elected and will use this valuable knowledge to serve the ratepayers.
Along with Ken’s vast technical knowledge from many years of running his own architecture firm and leadership experience in local government, he has spent many hours on a listening tour with current and past PUD commissioners and employees to prepare for this new office.
In upcoming forums and debates, Ken will demonstrate his knowledge and forward thinking to the public.
Ken will work exclusively for ratepayers of Clallam County and will never give ratepayer money or doglike devotion to lobby groups like River Partners.
