LETTER:No regional health district

In dealing with the COVID-19 issue, Clallam County has exhibited significant competency.

Our Department of Health and Human Services is a well run and effective health organization.

I would be very disappointed to see our health services diluted by creating a regional health district.

As you know much of what happens in our state is based on circumstances and opinions in the Interstate 5 corridor from Olympia to Everett.

These bills would create a similar situation in whatever regions are established.

Decision making would emanate from the most populous and politically dominant portion of the region.
