The Morse Creek curve improvements are a fiasco.
Beyond the fact it cost a fortune.
First of all, safety was only minimally improved.
Not enough lighting, no flashing speed warning signs, no speed bumps, no turn lane coming from the east.
People are still driving way too fast and getting into accidents.
Also, the center divider is a never-ending money pit.
Spending many thousands of dollars for labor, weeding and plants each year makes no sense.
Fill it with weed cloth and gravel and be done with it.
Our road workers could be used on much more important things.
