LETTER: Will vote for Stoffer for Sequim school board

Being a parent with children in the Sequim schools is not a necessary requirement to be on the board of directors.

Years of involvement with our schools and children should be a prerequisite.

Jim Stoffer has demonstrated his commitment to our children and quality education.

He has continued his active participation since his child attended the schools, working tirelessly with strategic district planning, levy campaigns and now as the most tenured member of the board.

He has also been a legislative representative for our district.

His efforts to create positive experiences for our youth have been seen as a Boys and Girls Club Summer Lunch Program

volunteer and Prevention Works board member.

Stoffer puts our students first.

He understands the need to keep our rural district competitive and safe in the 21st century.

To this end, he is committed to prudently manage and administer our tax dollars, as well as creating partnerships with the state legislature and community members.

For continued growth and quality education, vote for Jim Stoffer, Sequim School Board Position 3.
