In his great book “How Fascism Works,” Jason Stanley noted that “fascist politics is designed to get people to disassociate from reality. The goal of fascisim is to make the majority group feel like victims, to make them feel like they’ve lost something, and that the thing they’ve lost has been taken from them by a specific enemy — usually some majority out-group or some opposing nation.”
So confusion, not clarity, is the name of the game.
Some recent selective letters with this goal are “Assuage their Guilt,” Oct. 4-5; “Responsible for Evil,” Sept. 27; and “Desperate Dems,” Oct. 11-12.
These, and others are wildly spun, superficial, fact-free attempts toward the goal of establishing a fascist system of government.
If these people would ease up on their spinning for a moment they’d notice that their demagogue-in-chief, President Donald Trump, is going down in flames.
Let crooked Donny take them with him.
