My son, Rocky, has always had such a strong aversion to going to the hospital in the past.
He was admitted to Olympic Medical Center last year for several days.
When he was discharged and I was waiting for him, he came out with a big smile on his face and said, “Mom, they were so good to me and they even shook my hand when I was discharged.”
He was admitted for the final time on May 19, and I appreciate everyone, including the emergency responders from the fire department to the physicians, nurses, lab and X-ray technicians, housekeepers and the emergency medical staff who came with the helicopter.
My entire family is so grateful to all of you — even the surgeons at Swedish who updated me three times during the night.
