I am tired of all of the anti-MAT (medicine assisted treatment) facility publicity.
Today even received a paid mailer from the Save Our Sequim group.
Just because we didn’t organize a large group to say we are for it doesn’t mean we aren’t.
I am quite active in my neighborhood, church, and the community.
I know of only one neighbor who is anti-MAT and only one person who is a member of our church who advocates for Save our Sequim. The rest are all supportive.
Some people are so afraid of change.
Just reflect on all of the changes that Sequim has seen over the years and you have seen in your own lives.
As Mark Twin said, “I have known a great many troubles but most of them never happened.”
And to quote Aristotle, “Fear is pain arising from the anticipation of evil.”
Faith will banish fear.
We can only grow from helping one another.
