I am writing this letter because of the most recent activity from the White House to do away with the United States Postal Service.
When are we going to unite together to stand up to say, “Enough is enough.”
My need for some positive action has led me to this letter.
On the Saturday afternoon after this letter is published I am going to be standing in front of the Port Angeles post office on First Street at 1 p.m. with a poster that says “I support the United States Post Office!”
We can practice safe distancing by standing six feet apart from Peabody Street to Race Street, hopefully on both sides of the street, to support our postal workers.
I hope that you will join me and bring a sign with you.
