LETTER: Questions for Trump supporters

From Port Angeles

Those endorsing and posting pro-Trump signs at their homes and businesses bring up many questions as to just what exactly they are supporting.

Are these local business owners admiring Trump’s multiple bankruptcies, his hiding of tax records, his foreign bank loans, his stiffing contractors, his appointing people to cabinet positions with obvious business conflicts of interest, his nepotism and multiple personal non-disclosure agreements?

Are we to wonder if these local pro-Trump businesses grease palms to get government contracts while evading taxes through loopholes?

Do the pro-Trumpers admire Trump’s lack of personal integrity in his marriages, his ugly insults to females, minorities and those who have served in the military?

Or are they blindly fixated on their perceived Second Amendment vigilante rights while ignoring the trauma to children routinely experiencing active shooter drills at schools?

Or are they convinced our state government intruded on their personal freedom because of mask requirements and restricted group gatherings for COVID-19 while they are actively supporting federal government ownership of a woman’s uterus through political party association?

Finally, is Sequim’s mayor’s support of QAnon and its claims only Trump will get to the bottom of human trafficking seriously realistic when Trump is on record partying with Jeffrey Epstein, prosecuted for sex trafficking of underage females along with multiple accusations of sexual misconduct against Trump, including rape and sex with an underage girl?
