PORT TOWNSEND — Studium Generale East will present “Meet Gabe Lelyveld” at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Lelyveld will speak at Peninsula College’s Port Townsend campus, 202 Eisenhower Ave., Fort Worden.
Lelyveld, a visual storyteller, produces documentary films that explore issues of social justice, addiction and resilience.
His current project, “Damian & Michael,” is a feature-length documentary about two men battling addiction, homelessness and their personal demons.
Future speakers in the monthly lecture series include Rico Quirindongo in May and Jere Canote in June.
