United Way hosts hybrid fundraiser

BLYN — Tickets are still available for a hybrid United Way of Clallam County Clallam fundraiser.

Celebrate United Champagne and Cupcake Brunch will be at 11 a.m. Friday. The in-person event will be at Club 7 in 7 Cedars Casino.

The link to the virtual version will be provided after reserving tickets.

Tickets are $60 per person or $100 per couple. Virtual tickets are $40 each.

The in-person champagne brunch will be catered by 7 Cedars and will feature cupcakes from That Takes the Cake in Sequim.

Swag bags full of local goods will be provided.

The special guest speaker will be Greg Bennick, a TEDx motivational speaker and philanthropist.

Virtual attendees will not only hear the speaker but also will be provided swag bags and gift cards for cupcakes.

Those attending in person must provide proof of vaccination in accordance with the current public health directive and 7 Cedars’ policy. Masks are required when not eating.

Shuttle service is available from Port Angeles and Sequim: 10 a.m. SAARS in Port Angeles, 10:10 a.m., Walmart in Port Angeles; 10:25 a.m., QFC in Sequim.

“Without a caring community and people like you, we would not be able to reach our goals,” said a press release. “All funds raised will go to supporting local nonprofits serving over 46,600 people in our region.”
