The Black Ends to perform at Quilcene Lantern

QUILCENE — The Black Ends will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday.

The Seattle-based trio will be onstage at the Quilcene Lantern, 7360 Center Road, Quilcene.

Tickets are $10 to $25 per person at www.quilcenelantern.com/events or at the door.

The band, which describes its music as “gunk-pop,” a blend of grunge and pop, released its debut album, “Pychotic Spew,” in October.

The band has been at the Lantern for the past two weeks on an artistic retreat.

Lotion, a Quilcene-based band, will open the show, and DJ E ROK will spin heavy metal and hardcore vinyl.

The Lantern is a 90-year-old barn equipped with a wine and beer bar and heated by a wood stove and propane furnace.

Lodging and camping are available on site, including space for RVs and trailers.
