The 85th annual Rhododendron Festival Grand Parade cruised through Port Townsend on Saturday afternoon. About 40 floats and pedestrian groups, from the North Olympic Orca Pod to the Sequim Irrigation Festival, flowed down Lawrence Street in the procession, postponed from last May.

The crew of Cake Picnic volunteers brought up the rear of The Cake Picnic then capped the festivities with free cake, music and games at Pope Marine Plaza downtown.

The Sequim Irrigation Festival float, whose theme is “A Place for You to Rome,” carried festival royalty who are, from left, princesses Allie Gale, Zoee Kuperus and Sydney VanProyen and Queen Hannah Hampton.
