PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Community Players Theatrical Society will host its third annual Jane Austen Tea on Saturday in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church.
The event will be at 2 p.m. at 110 E. Seventh St. in Port Angeles. It will feature a full formal tea along with a lecture on the “Age of Revolution” during the Regency period, live music performance and a chance to meet the cast of the upcoming PACP holiday production, “Christmas at Pemberley — Georgiana and Kitty.”
Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased at www.pacommunityplayers.org. The event has been popular in previous years, selling out last year, so advanced ticket purchases are encouraged, organizers said.
As this is a formal event celebrating Austen, guests are encouraged to wear their nicest hat, organizers said.
