Fiber art aplenty at special Saturday show in Sequim

SEQUIM — The North Olympic Fiber Arts’ Festival/Fiber Arts Show and Sale will offer an assortment of goods for those seeking unusual gifts.

The show and sale will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Sequim Museum & Arts, 175 W. Cedar St.

During the last day of the “Threads Count — Textiles, Technology & Tales” art exhibition, a special Small Business Saturday Fiber Arts Market event supporting local artists and producers will offer fiber to finished products for sale.

Fine art, wearable art, accessories, housewares, yarn, fleece and fuzzy treasures will be available.

Creators will tell about the methods used to make these one-of-a-kind works. They include Lynn Baritelle, Renne Emiko Brock, Lauralee DeLuca, Leslie Hoex, Erica Iseminger, Susan Nylander, Kathy Martin, Patti Pattison, Susan Savage and Marla Varner.

Small Business Saturday is an opportunity to support neighborhood enterprises with unique shopping experiences that contribute to the local economy. Look for the hashtag #ShopSmall and signage of participating businesses.
