Book reading scheduled

PORT HADLOCK — Mitch Luckett will read from his new novel “Holy Roller Heart” from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Luckett will read and perform his original music in the Humphrey Room at the Jefferson County Library, 620 Cedar Ave.

Luckett describes his new book as “a Southern Gothic, coming-of-age, murder mystery set in the 1950s.”

The novel is Luckett’s is third; he also wrote “To Kill a Common Loon” and its sequel “The Man in the Loon.”
