Archaeology lecture offered Wednesday

PORT TOWNSEND — Gary Wessen will present “Exploring the Radiocarbon Chronology of Western Washington Shell Midden Sites” at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The lecture, hosted by the Jefferson County Historical Society, will stream on Zoom.

Wessen has a PhD in anthropology from Washington State University in Pullman and has more than 50 years of fieldwork in North America.
