Port Angeles chamber to host virtual meeting

Zoom event starts at 11 a.m. today

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce will host a virtual meeting on COVID-19 mitigation efforts, including programs to help small business, at 11 a.m. today.

The hour-long meeting will include information from Rep. Derek Kilmer, a Gig Harbor Democrat who represents the 6th Congressional District — which includes the North Olympic Peninsula — and local banks as well as providing updates on the chamber’s plans for business recovery programs this summer.

To join the Zoom meeting online go to zoom.us/j/124487318. It is recommended that people join about three minutes prior to the meeting, especially if you are new to using Zoom.

The agenda also includes information on a job fair this summer, online chamber membership meetings, a July 3 tribute to heroes, and Fourth of July celebration, ribbon-cuttings for reopening businesses a special Taste of Port Angeles and a “Quarantalent Show.”
