Lakeside Industries wins Quality in Construction Award

MAUI, Hawaii — The National Asphalt Pavement Association presented a 2019 Quality in Construction Award to Port Angeles construction firm Lakeside Industries Inc. at its 65th annual meeting in Maui, Hawaii.

The firm was recognized for its recently completed, three-year project rehabilitating 18.5 miles of U.S. Highway 101 and East Beach Road in Olympic National Park.

The project involved sub-excavation, building mechanically-stabilized earth retaining walls, box culverts, rock scaling, asphalt milling, paving, guardrail work and striping.
