PORT ANGELES — An unidentified sailor was not injured when a small rental sailboat capsized in Port Angeles Harbor, the Coast Guard said.
The overturned sailboat was spotted by a nearby boater Friday afternoon, and the sailor was pulled from the water by the good Samaritan, said Chief Petty Officer Robert Lanier, spokesman for the Coast Guard.
A medium-size response boat from Coast Guard Air Station/Sector Field Office Port Angeles towed the boat back to the pier and returned the sailor to shore, he said.
The Coast Guard did not identify the sailor.
