Knocking ’em dead at Port Angeles Concert on the Pier

Teresa Pierce and Olympic Express Big Band were a big hit Wednesday night at the Port Angeles Concert on the Pier.

More than 500 in the audience enjoyed the music and warm breezes.

Concert on the Pier — every Wednesday through Sept. 5 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. — is sponsored by KeyBank, Elwha River Casino, Peninsula Daily News, Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce, Port Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation and Brown and Caldwell, an environmental engineering firm that works with the city of Port Angeles.

Next Wednesday’s concert (Aug. 22) — Sequimarimba (feeling-good marimba).
