PORT ANGELES — Lovers of art and flowers have a chance to win one of Karen Sistek’s tulip paintings.
The acclaimed Port Angeles artist has donated “Ina May,” one of her tulip portraits, to the Clallam County Historical Society for its annual fundraiser.
Named for Clallam County educator Ina May McNutt, the painting is the prize in a drawing to benefit the historical society.
The winner will be announced at the society’s annual meeting Sunday, June 2.
Tickets to the drawing are on sale now for $2 at the Clallam County Historical Society’s administrative center at 921 W. Ninth St., and at the Museum at the Carnegie, 207 S. Lincoln St.
Sistek, who paints on silk, is also the artist whose work was chosen for the April 2013 Skagit Valley Tulip Festival poster.
