This week’s schedule of free outdoor music on the North Olympic Peninsula:
■ SEQUIM — Tuesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Stardust Big Band (swing).
Sequim’s Music in the Park series is every Tuesday evening through Aug. 27 at the outdoor James Center amphitheater in the Sequim Water Reuse Park, 563 N. Rhodefer Road, just north of Carrie Blake Park.
Bring your own seating to the grassy expanse.
Next Concert in the Park: Porto Alegre (Latin jazz), Aug. 20.
■ PORT ANGELES — Wednesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wally’s Boys (swing).
The Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce’s concert series is every Wednesday night through Sept. 4 at City Pier.
City Pier is a no-smoking, no-skateboards, alcohol-free venue.
Some chairs are available for the disabled and early arrivals.
Next Concert on the Pier: Twisted Roots (folk and rock), Aug. 21.
■ PORT TOWNSEND — Thursday, 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Toolshed Trio and Special Guests (roots-rock, country blues, ragtime, folk).
The Port Townsend Main Street Concert on the Dock series is every Thursday through Aug. 29 at the Pope Marine Plaza on the downtown waterfront.
Bring chairs or a blanket; some chairs are available in a wine, beer and cider garden. Seating opens at 4:30 p.m.
Next Concert on the Dock: Off the Hook (R&B and soul), Aug. 22.
■ SEQUIM — Friday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Old Side Kicks (country and bluegrass).
The Summertime Music Outdoors series is every Friday night through Aug. 23 behind the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., using bleachers and an outdoor stage funded by the Friends of Sequim Library.
Bring a blanket or lawn chairs for additional seating.
Next (and last) Summertime concert: Two bands, Witherow (Port Angeles-Sequim foursome specializing in folk and Americana) and Fish & Bird (Canadian quintet, indie-folk), Aug. 23.
■ SEQUIM — Sunday, Aug. 18, at 3 p.m., Sequim City Band (standards, Broadway, marches, music from around the globe).
The band plays at the James Center for the Performing Arts amphitheater in the Sequim Water Reuse Park, 563 N. Rhodefer Road, just north of Carrie Blake Park (see first item).
Bring lawn chairs, blankets, family and a picnic.
