SEQUIM — The Olympic Peninsula chapter of the International Footprint Association has presented Clallam County Fire District No. 3 commissioners and chiefs with a copy of Firefighters.

The book, a leather-bound history of firefighting in the United States, was presented during a commissioners meeting Oct. 15.

The book was purchased from the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and includes a dedication to the fire district from the Olympic Peninsula IFA chapter, said Patrick Young, district spokesman.
