SUNDAY — Dog Days Fun Run in Port Angeles today

PORT ANGELES — The second annual Dog Days 10K Fun Run is today.

The run on the Adventure Route of the Olympic Discovery Trail raises funds for the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society.

Cost is $35 per person. Participation is limited to 125 registrants.

Fun Run participants meet at 9:30 a.m., and the run/walk begins at 10 a.m. Participants can register for the event at 9:20 a.m.

The run will be on the Olympic Adventure Trail, starting and ending in the large parking lot located 1 mile up Dan Kelly Road on the left.

The untimed run will be a 10K loop that includes single-track forested trail as well as a portion of forested gravel road.
