EYE ON BUSINESS: This week’s meetings

■ Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings usually are held on the first and third Mondays at noon in the second-floor meeting room of the Red Lion Hotel, 221 N. Lincoln St.

There will be no luncheon this Monday due to the Presidents Day holiday.

■ Forks Chamber of Commerce — Luncheon meetings are Wednesdays at noon at Blakeslee’s Bar & Grill, 1222 S. Forks Ave.

This Wednesday’s gathering will feature Mayor Bryon Monohon and the State of the City address.

Lunch costs $9.75 and will include an entree (pulled pork sandwiches) and sides. The soup of the day will be clam chowder.

■ North Hood Canal Chamber of Commerce — Representing the “Emerald Towns” of the Hood Canal, Quilcene and Brinnon, the chamber usually meets monthly on the third Monday of the month.

In place of the February general meeting, the chamber will sponsor a no-host luncheon with U.S. Rep. Derek Kilmer at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Gear Head Deli, 294963 U.S. Highway 101, Quilcene.

■ Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly ­luncheon meetings usually are held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.

There will be no luncheon this week due to the Presidents Day holiday.

■ Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings with networking and educational programs are held Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 ­DelGuzzi Drive, Port Angeles.

This coming Tuesday​’s meeting is PABA’s monthly one-hour discussion program examining local issues affecting investment, employment and sound economic growth in Clallam County.

​PABA members ​also ​are invited to share their​ ​thoughts about business ​matters that ​should be ​discussed, ​addressed​ or studied ​by the association. ​

​Port Angeles City Attorney Bill Bloor will give a short presentation on ​r​amifications if voters approved a petition to change ​Port Angeles government from ​being ​a “code city​“ with home-rule powers.

There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those who do not order breakfast.
