PORT TOWNSEND — Gin Hammond will bring her one-woman play, “Living IncogNegro,” back to Port Townsend for two shows at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

The special performances will be taped live at the Key City Public Theatre, 419 Washington St.

All seats are pay what you wish and tickets are available at www.keycitypublic theatre.org or by calling the box office at 360-385-5278.

Hammond has teamed up with Port Townsend filmmaker Gabe Van Lelyveld, of Whaleheart Productions, to create a film version of her play.

Directed by Denise Winter, the play explores how to express yourself when your cultural identity doesn’t match your physical identity.

The taping provides an opportunity for those who missed the original, sold-out performances in February to see the play on stage.
