Two $1,000 scholarships awarded

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Garden Club has awarded $1,000 scholarships to two local students.

Port Angeles High School graduate Joseph Hill plans to study marine and coastal biology and environmental studies.

Crescent High School graduate Harmony Henderson has been accepted to Western Washington University in Bellingham where she plans to study medicine.
