Health network hires new advanced RN practitioner

PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Healthcare Network has announced that Maria Melvin, an advanced registered nurse practitioner, has joined its primary care provider team.

Melvin, a 2012 graduate of Peninsula College’s nursing program, recently earned a Master of Science in nursing from Gonzaga University in Spokane.

According to a press release, Melvin began her medical career at Olympic Medical Center as an EKG technician.
