Port Townsend quilter makes national exhibit

ATHENS, Ohio — The Dairy Barn Arts Center has announced that Port Townsend quilter Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry is a featured artist in its 2019 Quilt National exhibit.

Fallert-Gentry’s quilt “Vine #2” is on display in the Best in Contemporary Quilts category.

According to a press release, Fallert-Gentry’s piece was one of 84 quilts selected from more than 700 submissions from 375 artists from 19 countries and 40 U.S. states.
