PORT ANGELES — The Elwha River bridge on U.S. Highway 101 will undergo a regular inspection Monday, May 6.

During the inspection from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., travelers might encounter one-way alternating traffic across the span west of Port Angeles, according to a state Department of Transportation press release.

Transportation bridge crews conduct regularly scheduled inspections on all state bridges and structures.

In the event of severe weather conditions, the inspection could be rescheduled.
